Halkidiki is divided into 4 parts˙ Kassandra, Sithonia, Mount Athos and the mainland.

Each part presents a particular character, giving to Halkidiki a multi-pronged figure and a contiguous alteration of landscapes.

Its three peninsulas seem to ram the Aegean, revealing to its visitors more than 500km of coastline.

 

Akti Ouranoupoli is nestled in one of the most charming places of the area, on the borders of Mount Athos, just a few kilometers away from the picturesque Ouranoupoli, enjoying the views of islands Drenia, Ammouliani, and Sithonia.

For summer 2010, the Reception Desk of the Hotel suggests:

  • Cruise around the peninsula of Mount Athos
  • Short trip to island Ammouliani for ouzo and swimming to Alikes beach
  • Fishing with rent boats to the isles Drenia
